Golfler is an award-winning technology company that builds cloud-based golf course management solutions. Golfler works with its partner courses to reduce costs by automating daily tasks through our turnkey management solution modules. Golfler also helps courses to increase revenue by monetizing 25% of tee-times that are now booked online.

Golfler wanted to develop a desktop POS for the golf course management which would provide a complete B2B service to the courses.

Golfer also had a unique idea to develop a mobile application which would have a custom rangeFinder for the courses user wants to play on.

World-Class Cloud-Based Tee Sheet

Golfler wanted easy to use and intuitive Tee-Sheet that would automatically scroll to the present time. Search tee-sheet by player name, view present, past and future bookings.

Robust Retail Point-of-Sale

Golfler wanted an easy modification of items with free and/or paid add-ons. Send custom notes to the kitchen. Individual items can be discounted in the shopping cart, or an entire order can be discounted, but not below the item’s “floor price” as set by the Course administrator.

Reports and Accounting

Golfler wanted a module to compare total revenue, revenue by department and revenue by sub-department by the time of day, week, month, year or any other date period. View a Quick Summary of sales for all departments, or filter by department, sub-department, category and/or item.

Interactive Mobile Apps

Golfler wanted iOS and Android applications that have a GPS view of the entire course and pace of play monitoring. Also, a Rangefinder for Golfers to plan their shots.

Golfler wanted a fully integrated point of sale system that is compatible with receipt printers, barcode scanners, and cash-drawers. Golfler wanted a cloud-based software that syncs online, so course operators can expect to seamlessly manage their pro-shop, restaurant, and back-office on any Windows computer within 48 hours of partnering with us.

Golfler approached Define Labs to develop Robust Retail Point-of-Sale with Inventory Management, payment flexibility, in-depth reporting, customer profiles and many more.

Define’s skilled .NET developers were up for the challenge. We developed a state-of-the-art Desktop for Golf Courses management. The biggest challenge was to make the application generic to all the Courses and not be specific to a single Course.

We developed an easy to use interactive UI using Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF)

We also have integrated QuickPay and Basys Payment Processing for making payments through Debit Cards and Credit Cards.

Further, we also integrated QuickBooks syncing and LightSpeed in the POS for better inventory management.

We integrated MailChimp to offer an easy to use, best in class email marketing tool from within your custom golf course point of sale. Among other things, the user is able to see which of the customers has opened their emails and who have ignored it. MailChimp even takes care of customers who wish to unsubscribe, saving you the burden of manually removing addresses from your email list.

Golfler wanted a mobile application on iOS and Android which would help the user to get an overview of the Golf Course and further plan their shots according to the distance from the Tee to the Hole.

The user can also check the distance to the hole based on his location on the Golf Course.

Our developers used Google Maps SDK to develop a custom RangeFinder and Scorecard in the app. We have also used Card.io for quick scanning of Credit Cards.

One of the unique features of the apps is On Demand on the course food ordering. While the user is busy getting ready for the next tee, Golfler routes user’s order to the clubhouse to be prepared for either pick-up or delivery.
