POPxo creates stories, videos and social media content about the things young Indian women care about. They talk about everything from fashion and beauty to weddings and work. They even talk about sex, from a female perspective.

They wanted to gain female users on the website and collaborate with content creators to write posts revolving around topics related to girls.

POPxo approached Define Labs to build a state-of-a-art website and the mobile apps on iOS and Android.

POPxo is a community for girls. It’s a place to read stories, watch videos, start discussions and share experiences about everything you love – from style and makeup to work and weddings and even relationships and sex! Popxo is about Fashion,Beauty and lifestyle.Popxo is all about article and stories you need for your daily entertainment.

POPxo approached Define Labs to develop a custom CRM that would help the user to easily allow to publish on the site and manage all his activities. It was a great challenge to develop a custom CRM from the start which would manage each activity of the user. We proposed a fully customizable custom Rails CRM.

They also wanted to develop their website which would contain posts and publications made by any user. We developed a fully responsive Website using Rails backend and WordPress for frontend.

We have used Solr for the effective search of content in the website

The main challenge in developing the Mobile apps was making it interactive with the user and yet keeping it lightweight.

Our iOS and Android developers were up to the challenge and developed a fully backend controlled mobile application.

Further POPxo wanted a section just for questions and polls over the problems, but they wanted the identity of the user asking the question and the responder to be hidden.

We also designed and developed a personalized module for POPxo to sell their merchandise online in the app.
